The Consultation Process

The initial personal training consultation includes an assessment of your existing exercise routine (if any), past experience with strength training or weight loss training regimens, medical conditions, and nutritional habits. Depending on your goals and preferences, a body weight measurement, body composition assessment, and preliminary (“before”) pictures may be taken as well.

After a face-to-face discussion of your fitness history and needs, V will take you through a personal training routine which will allow him to both assess your current fitness level and give you an idea of what it’s like to train with him. Dr. Maurya will then make recommendations on how to proceed, taking into consideration medical limitations, current fitness level, and budget.
